Lisa's 'lil Space

I wonder sometimes why I even want to work.  Mark would rather I just stay home.  But I've worked since I was fifteen and I like knowing no matter what happens, I can take care of me.  I take alot of pride in achieving goals I set for myself.  All of my kids seem to share my work ethic.  Heather has found her nitch in child care.  Bubba, you can't keep up with him.  He is such a go getter and Tyler, is still trying to find out what she wants to be when she grows up.  But appears to have fun with whatever she's doing.

The girls, are like me.  They kind of float around until they know that they've found it.  Bubba knew pretty early what he didn't want to do and that's  a way to go, I guess.  Career choices by the process of elimination.  Kind of novel.  Tyler, I believe needs to be in some area of beauty.  Rather it be in fashion, hair, or cosmetics, I feel like that would be it.  Of course, when she was five, she wanted to be a baby doctor, grocery store checker outer and an unstapler.  Yep, she loved to take out staples. 

Wow!  This month has flown by.  Good thing, it's been a pretty non-productive, self-destructive, and all around crappy thirty days.  You would really think at 44, I could spot a snake when I saw one.  Nope, here he is.....Judas himself.

 

I spent yesterday setting this up and found it to be a little relaxing.  It was fun to look at some photos but it sure made me miss my kids. 

 

I spent some time with hubby talking about our fish and birds.  I've decided that I'd like to do some aquatic planting and so today we'll go to the pet store and maybe look at what plants they have.  After I set those up, I may add a couple of pretty fish. 

 

We've also discovered that we may have two of the same sex oscars, named This and That, so we may get another pair and see if we may try to breed. 

 

Mark has agreed to make me another cage for my birds so we'd like to spend some time on that too.

 

These are the things that go a long way in making me relax and I desperately need to do that more often.

 

I'm going to attempt to stay away from work today.
